Mr. McCabe is a real estate analyst and consultant, and has become internationally respected for his prescient economic and real estate market predictions. He is an accomplished real estate expert in US. Federal court and Florida and New York district courts, and has been engaged to provide litigation support and expert deposition and testimony in numerous high profile real estate lawsuits. Jack has also authored monthly real estate insight columns in The Real Deal, Daily Business Review, Sarasota Herald Tribune, and Sarasota Biz 941 publication.

Prior to opening McCabe Research & Consulting in 2002, Jack was employed with national homebuilders for eighteen years in several key US markets including Chicago, Austin, Dallas, Nashville. Raleigh, and South Florida. Beginning in on site sales, Jack's corporate career progressed into sales management, and later project and division management.
Jack opened MR&C initially to research and perform rich data macro and micro reports on South Florida's commercial apartment market communities. Next came condominium conversion reports, single, multifamily and multi-use project market feasibility studies, and consulting engagements with developers, lenders, and institutional investors.
The company was recognized for it's comprehensive and accurate data and recommended by clients to the media as a trusted source of real estate data and analysis.
National seminar speaking requests soon followed, as did national and international television interviews.
In 2004, Jack began discussing an impending crash of condominiums that would topple real estate prices throughout Florida, beginning in Miami. In 2006, he informed clients and the general public that other key US markets were also impending bubbles that would crash the US economy. In 2007, he predicted the US impending "Great Recession", and also forecast that worlwide overpriced real estate bubbles coupled with toxic mortgages in Europe, Australia, Canada, and Latin America would collapse the global economy.
His prescient predictions brought the firm global recognition and acclaim, and a premier group of clients seeking accurate, honest, non-vested, objective "real" real estate expertise.
During the downturn years of 2006 - 2011, Mr. McCabe performed due diligence for several distressed property fund's private placement memorandums, analyzed single family portfolios for acquisitions, and oversaw valuation studies of funds residential assets for annual reviews.
